A group of friends spotted a feral cat stuck in a pool of shallow water, and decided to do something about it. They lowered one of their friends into the water, and after some trial and error, got the cat to claw onto a piece of wood, which they pushed up to the top of the steep concrete bowl. They even dried the cat off, which must have been a little nerve-wracking, since the animal was wild, scared, and not afraid to take its claws out.
