Talented violinist Roger Frisch underwent brain surgery while playing his instrument. Frisch noticed a tremor in his arm while playing violin, so he went to the Minnesota Mayo Clinic to have it diagnosed in 2009. He underwent experimental Deep Brain Stimulation surgery and was awake for the first part of the procedure. During that period, Frisch played the violin so that the doctors could repair the tremor.
