A newly-installed dashcam in Queens, New York proved to be a smart investment for one driver. The owner of the device struck a border patrol van pretty hard after he drove through a green light because he didn't hear the van's sirens or see its lights flash due to sunlight. While other vehicles stopped for the van, the dashcam driver was clearly blindsided due to a lack of peripheral vision.
