A literal newborn water buffalo got a rude introduction to the world, when a pack of hyenas preyed on it and its mother at the Lemek Conservancy in Kenya. The calf got bitten several times in the attack. The onslaught got out of hand, but help came in a big way when a herd came to protect them.
