A World War II veteran got the ultimate sign of respect as he watched dozens of runners take part in an 8-kilometer run to benefit the Pat Tillman Foundation in San Jose, California. Joe Bell, 95, cheered on the participants as they passed his post. However, a group of friendly runners decided to also acknowledge the veteran with a handshake and "thank you" as they moved down the course.
