A flyover ended in two fatalities in Iceland. A medical plane was attempting to do a trick in a flyover, when the plane lost altitude in a sharp left-hand turn. The plane's wing clipped the ground and exploded. The pilot and a medic died in the crash, while the co-pilot somehow survived the incident. The crash remains under investigation. View Now

Unfortunately for Bruce Cook of Canada, his double front flip attempt will be filed under the show's follies. This pair of videos involves avalanches. In the first video, a man barely avoids certain doom as he triggers an avalanche, but has the control to stop himself from being caught in it. The scary close call brought out the potty mouth in this skier.
In the second clip, an avalanche rescue goes wrong for a different reason. This helicopter crew was sent out to save a man who was reported to have been buried by the snow. A firefighter who was dressed up as an old woman for a holiday tradition in Italy was badly injured after a stunt went wrong during an event. He was raised to the top of a bell tower as part of the festivities that celebrate the closing of the Christmas holiday, but his zip line failed and he was sent head-first into the tower extremely hard. He needed to have surgery after experiencing a serious head injury. Doctors say he may still need another surgery as he remains in serious condition. The rest of the event was canceled out of respect for the 45-year-old fireman. View Now
