Is this a mummy's curse, or some sort of clever prank? Heads are spinning after time-lapse video appeared to capture an ancient Egyptian statue slowing turning- on it's own. The curator at the Manchester Museum says this is not a prank- the video was filmed over an 11 hour period and then sped up. The 1000-year-old Egyptian statue, which is locked in a glass case, has been doing this for months, which is why the museum decided to film it. Sunday night, thrill-seeker Nik Wallenda became the first person to complete a tightrope walk across the Grand Canyon. Wallenda took just over 22 minutes to perform the stunt on a 2-inch-thick steel cable, 1,500 feet above the Colorado river in northeastern Arizona. Wallenda did not wear a harness as he trekked the quarter mile, which Discovery Channel aired live. The 34-year-old Florida resident is a seventh-generation high-wire artist and is part of the famous "Flying Wallendas" circus family. View Now
