Baroness Margaret Thatcher died following a stroke on Monday morning, according to Telegraph. She was 87. Thatcher, who served 11 years as Britain's first female prime minister, was brought back into the spotlight in 2011 when Meryl Streep played her in the Academy Award winning movie, The Iron Lady. Penny Junor, who wrote a biography of the former Prime Minister in 1983, said Thatcher "came to politics for all the right reasons... she had real conviction about what she wanted to do." View Now

An officer shot a man in the arm during a traffic stop after the man reached into his truck for what was later discovered to be a cell phone. The officer had already instructed the man to keep his hands in sight, and administered First-Aid until an ambulance arrived. A highway in Taiwan was the scene of a bad roll-over accident. First, the driver of the white SUV was being careless on the road and swerved into another lane.
