Former Phoenix Suns coach Mike D'Antoni has signed a four-deal contract with the Los Angeles Lakers to be their head coach. Rumor had it the Lakers wanted to bring Phil Jackson back but a source close to the deal says Jackson was "asking for the moon." Both Kobe Bryant and Steve Nash have expressed their approval of D'Antoni as head coach. D'Antoni won NBA coach of the year while with the Phoenix Suns during the 2004-2005 season.
