A man from Grand Rapids, Michigan asked a geology faculty member at Central Michigan University to take a look at the big rock he had been using for a doorstop and occasionally lending to children for show-and-tell. The rock turned out to be a more than 22-pound meteorite potentially worth $100,000! Cancer not only makes its way into our lives but those of animals too. Jary, a 22-year-old hornbill living at the Jurong Bird Park in Singapore, was found with cancerous tissue in his casque. Experts were concerned about his well-being, so they performed surgery and removed the cancerous bill. That's when they created a 3D printed prosthetic casque to replace it. Long-time high school choir director Barbara Lueck is battling cancer, and her students from the past two decades wanted to do something special for her. More than 50 alumni came together to sing "Seasons of Love," one of Mama Lu's favorites.
