A pear tree in a front yard had begun to die, so the owner called his brother and his family in to help cut it down. Even with their combined efforts, and the help of a neighbor, the tree split in two directions as it fell and one side landed on the house. Luckily, the only thing that was damaged on the house was the gutter. Unfortunately, they also lost some doughnuts in the disaster.
