A woman has complete strangers to thank after they pulled her from her car that had plunged off the road and into a pond in the suburbs of Chicago. Joanna Girmscheid recently had a chance to address the 12 Good Samaritans who were traveling on the roadway and stopped to help her. With a cast on her arm, Girmscheid gave an emotional speech at a ceremony shared by the Illinois Tollway and says it could have easily have been a funeral instead of a rescue.
