Shocking video shows the animal climbing on board a tour vehicle and even licking and cuddling the unsuspecting homans. Would this bother you? View Now
If you're sick of summer, Domhnall Gleason helps drag you into to the fall with this moody, dark tale based on the book of the same name. It is appropriately set in a small English town in a large country house that's far from it's stately days. Gleason plays young Dr. Faraday, who has a connection to this home from a single childhood memory. As the wallpaper peels, the story of this memory is doled out as he becomes intertwined with the family that lives there. Class distinctions are secondary for the doctor as he ingratiates himself with the mother, son and daughter of the Ayres clan. The daughter, Ruth Wilson, enjoys the escape Faraday provides, but something is amiss in the house. A child is hurt. Suspicions of paranormal activity are bandied about and the more Faraday is involved, the more the family dissolves. While an air of gothic melancholy broods throughout many long silences and stares (and I mean many), the ending is very much like an art film than your average haunted house story. View Now
If ever there were a movie designed for RTM viewers, it's "Searching." This movie stars John Cho as a widower who doesn't trust the police response to his daughter's disappearance. But the hook that makes this film so watchable and engaging is how it's told through the lens of social media. The film is told with Facetime messaging, tweets, email, hidden CCTV cameras, and internet websites. Cho uses the digital cues left by his daughter to solve the mystery. How the film is plotted (along with a nice red herring or two) plays out like a traditional mystery, but a mad dad beat down is just the kind of thing that trends on social media. Cho is effective as the grieving husband and worried father. The ending plays out a little too conveniently, but on the whole, this is a pretty watchable whodunnit. View Now
