The OWL Rehabilitation Society doesn't just help owls, especially when they come across other animals in need of some rescuing. They got a call about an eagle that was having trouble flying. Once the eagle was safely retrieved, they discovered it was suffering from led poisoning.
Speaking of ill eagles, another group of animal rescuers in Florida were told of a bald eagle that wasn't looking too good. After careful examination, it was determined that the eagle had eaten a rat, who in turn had eaten rat poison. After some care, the eagle was healthy enough to return to the wild. View Now
