A teenage mother in Brazil gave birth to a baby girl while she was alone. However, shortly after the birth, the baby fell and hit her head. The baby's great-grandmother, believing the infant to be deceased, buried the baby in the ground nearby according to their indigenous customs. A tip led police to the home, where they dug up the child's fresh grave only to discover she was still alive. The baby was transported to the hospital where doctors are optimistic about her progress.
