Two connected high-speed chases took place within hours of each other in Cowlitz County, Washington. First, deputies caught Dale Woodley, who stole a car and admitted that he worked with Max Fiest. The police then went after Fiest, who was eventually caught after a ridiculous chase that ended in a lake. This all went down in May and the two men are now serving eight-year prison sentences. Residents in Makhackala, Russia began filming a gas station across the street after they noticed what looked like smoke coming from the area of the building. While the camera was running a large explosion occurred, accompanied by a blazing fire. Reports say that the explosion may have been from tanker trucks transporting gas to the station, and that four people were injured. View Now

The Animal Aid Unlimited in India discovered an injured calf in need of rescue. The animal had some kind of plastic wrapping wrapped tightly around her neck, digging deep into her skin. It was unbelievable she was even alive. Once they finally wrangled the cow, they took her to a center where she was nursed back to perfect health. It was an amazing story of both survival and rescue. Miami Marlins relief pitcher Dan Jennings was hit in the head by a line drive in the seventh inning against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Coming off the bat at 101 mph, Jennings attempted to catch the ball but missed. After several minutes of being on the ground and with the help of players and staff, Jennings left the game. First things first, this one's the craziest. The Salt Lake City Police Department's battle to arrest a homeless man while he resisted, was all captured on camera by a bystander. The homeless man, 39-year-old Steven Carsello, was allegedly chasing another man with a car antenna and when police arrived, he went berserk. Police tased him multiple times but he kept getting up and running away. He took the fight to the back of a work truck and then under the truck until police were finally able to get him under control. View Now

For many years San Francisco has celebrated Escape From the Rock. Swimmers attempt to brave the ice cold waters of the San Francisco Bay and swim from the infamous prison, Alcatraz, to the city.
