A momma dog risked her life to rescue her puppies from a flooded drain. The puppies were underneath a sidewalk but when flood waters began to fill in their living spot, mom worked frantically to pull out all of her puppies to safety.

Injured animals rarely make it in the wild, so when one woman found a hedgehog in her yard with an injured leg, she knew she had to contact the experts. The skilled vets were able to perform surgery on the hedgehog's fractured leg by using a series of pins and screws to secure everything back in place. Pretty soon, the hedgehog was back on its little feet and released back into the wild!
