Tobin Seagel and his buddy wanted to be the first to ski through the fresh snow around a glacier. It is a slightly risky proposition since if they went too far one way or another the snow could have collapsed under their weight. It was an intense rescue operation when an elephant in Sri Lanka separated from its herd and fell into a canal. The poor elephant was exhausting itself as it struggled to get back up on the road. That's when the Department of Wildlife Conservation stepped in to help. They fashioned a ladder for the elephant made of rope, tires and sticks, and after a few attempts, the elephant was able to climb to safety. View Now
