A young schoolgirl carrying a heavy backpack was running to school when the weight of her backpack caused her to fall onto the tracks just as the tramcar was coming. Her leg got trapped and the tram dragged her 50 yards. The driver is credited with saving her life, but it was all of the bystanders that lifted the tram off of her.
