After 10-year-old Kirsten was suspended from riding the school bus for a second time after bullying another student, she needed a ride to school for the week, but Cox wanted to hold her accountable for her actions. That's exactly what Deputy William Ball with the Franklin County Sheriff's Office did when he came across a man looking over the wall of an overpass, ready to take his own life. Before he arrived on scene, two good Samaritans had tried to help, but Ball is specially trained in Crisis Intervention Tactics. Ball also tried calm the man down, eventually and thankfully pulling him back when he tried to jump. The man was taken to the hospital for a mental health evaluation.

A toddler was hanging by her neck from the family's balcony when a villager decided to risk his own life to save hers. The villager tied a rope to his waist and carefully descended the narrow gap between two buildings. Amazingly, he managed to rescue the girl and get her to safety.
