Firefighters were patrolling an area near the city of Chita in Russia when they spotted a dog that had gotten itself stuck in a frozen lake. Bystanders were understandably confused when they saw a van ramming into the side of another car. What became clear later was that the van driver was trying to stop two thieves from fleeing the scene. The suspects had attempted to steal tools from the van, only to be chased off by the van driver.
