A couple divers were checking out an island off the coast of New Zealand when they stumbled upon something we can only describe as a giant sea worm. Firefighters were patrolling an area near the city of Chita in Russia when they spotted a dog that had gotten itself stuck in a frozen lake. The rescue was tricky, not just because of how far out the dog was, but because if they chipped away at the ice too much, they risked a collapse. Bystanders were understandably confused when they saw a van ramming into the side of another car. What became clear later was that the van driver was trying to stop two thieves from fleeing the scene. The suspects had attempted to steal tools from the van, only to be chased off by the van driver.
