A dog was rescued from a frozen pond recently. Firefighters were called in to rescue the pooch. One of them donned a survival suit and got into the frozen water. The rescuer cut his way through the ice with the dog in tow.

A pelican was rescued by a couple of fishermen. The bird had three fishing hooks lodged in its beak. The fishermen were able to lure the bird in with some bait and a mullet and used a net to grab the bird. The removed the hooks and released the bird.
Disney World in Orlando, Florida, is under scrutiny after a video surfaced online. A young girl was dancing with performers when one of them turned suddenly, causing him to elbow her in the face. This instantly knocked the girl unconscious. The dancer apologized but the Disney has not commented on the issue as of yet.
