This little guy is deathly afraid of Gremlins. More specifically, he is frightened by Gizmo, who is actually the friendly creature in the popular 80s flick. Apparently, scary movies create irrational fears for little kids, even if their association is with the nice characters in the films.

There is not enough room on Vancouver roadways for these two men. The driver of the white car attempted to hit this cyclist as he was riding along on his bike. Then the two got into an argument on the sidewalk after the driver claimed that the cyclist stole something from his car. Police reports say that before this incident, the two were involved in a prior scuffle.
The importance of patience differs from situation to situation, but we're pretty sure being on the road heightens the need to stay calm. American Traffic Solutions has given us a few examples of folks that failed to keep patient on the road. These red light runners paid for their time-sensitive sins.
A kid's birthday party at a Peter Piper Pizza in Texas ended with a group of family members throwing bows. The pizza restaurant was filled with an all-out brawl after an argument over curse words turned violent. It's just a guess, but we're pretty this isn't the best way to set an example for your kids. We're also not sure how punching a person is a better move than using bad language.
Paragliding fail videos are pretty common here at RightThisMinute. However, this one's a little different. Everything seemed to be going smoothly for Andrew Craig as he took to the skies for his first mountain flight. That is, until a tree decided to get in the way of his landing. It didn't end well, but his reaction is probably not what you were expecting.
The first video in this clip will make you really angry, but then the second should brighten your mood a bit. First, a driver hits an elderly man in a crosswalk and takes off. Then, a bus driver takes a detour to the hospital to get a sick child medical help.
In celebration of some nicer weather, Penn State Altoona students held an outdoor party in an apartment complex that police say became "a riot." When police showed up to the event, one party goer ruined it for the rest by throwing a vodka bottle at one of the patrol cars. Students were ordered to stay inside, and police arrested anyone who didn't obey. This video captures one of the more controversial arrests, when student Kevin Nelson disobeyed the officers' commands, and wound up being tased and arrested.
When you get stuck in the snow, you can get a police escort if you are in serious trouble. However, the embodiment of a stereotype happened in Houston, Texas when a group of police cars helped a donut truck make its way on the road. We hate to judge, but that's just too perfect.
This skier in Colorado was enjoying his day among the trees, when BAM! Yes, the courageous skier experienced a major wipeout after handling the slopes pretty well. Luckily, his fail was feet first, so the impact was not that bad when he took a tight turn.
Look out below! This skier will likely be more cautious the next time he heads down a slope. Click here for the RTM crew's take on the video.

This dash cam footage shows an accident that occurred between a police car and a car carrying four high school cheerleaders. While the cheerleader car was the car that made impact, the accident is now being investigated due to the fact that the police officer ran a stop sign and didn't have his lights or signal on.
This is what happens when you run out of snow. A skier was heading down a slope and was unable to see a giant hole in his path. Unfortunately, the guy fell into that hole that was full of rocks. Click here for the original video.

A trio of animals were saved on two separate rescue missions and they were both caught on tape.
In the first clip, a horse was stuck in a half-frozen pond but was saved by a pair of rescuers. However, during the rescue, a curious dog fell into the pond. Luckily the canine was bit easier to bring in, as one of the rescuers simply grabbed him by the collar to get him to safety.
In video two, a rescue team was able to save Charlotte the dog after she fell down a cliff roughly 150 feet. The dog had to stay on a cliff ridge overnight because they couldn't get to her until the morning. Unfortunately, the dog had some injuries, but was taken to the vet for observation. We wish her well.
This pilot is showing a great example of a deadstick landing. The engine is off and the pilot has to navigate the sky by turning the plane in different directions. While the pilot was in charge the whole time, it is clear that his co-pilot was a bit sweaty behind this camera.
These two video showcase some great animal rescues.
In the first clip, a cat in Los Angeles recently got stuck on a power cord, but was lucky to be saved by SMART. The cat was unharmed and was returned to its owner, who affectionately named it "Char." Luckily for the pet owner, her animal's name did not become its fate.
In the second clip, an owl in Apple Valley, California got stuck under a water channel. The man eventually went to check on the owl and called for help. The owl was likely injured and was unable to fly out of the water. A ranger crew is now caring for the bird and it will soon be sent to a rehab center for its injuries.
Here we have two videos of thieves who cause a lot of damage to both people, and stores. In the first video, two men assault another man in order to steal his personal belongings. Then, a couple of dumb thieves break into a boot store, but don't have anything to show for their trouble when they finally leave.
While fishermen and others may think they are being nice by giving pelicans their leftover fish scraps after a day of fishing, they are actually causing a lot more harm than good. Many of the scraps being given to the birds are much larger than the fish they would normally eat, and because most of the fish have already been filleted, the exposed bones are causing the pelicans to choke. That's why the Conservancy of Southwest Florida released this warning video for any future would-be bird feeders.
The Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil was recently struck by lightning, and it was all caught on film. The city plans to restore one of the statue's fingers that was severed by the lightning. The statue wasn't the only thing to be hit by a bolt during the same storm in the area, as a house's roof was hit and once again, caught on tape.

In the two videos in this clip we see what happens when public transportation causes problems for the people using it. First, a man in a wheelchair is turned away from getting on the bus because of lack of room, but is let on once people make space. Then, a few angry passengers on a public bus in Australia get extremely upset at a few girls singing in French.
Bill Bradley, a marijuana grower with terminal cancer, wants to share his herbs with other people. He does not have the money to share the weed, but decided to make a video to gain support for his endeavors. Unfortunately, Connecticut police found the video and recognized Bradley, who had prior drug charges on his record. Drug-sniffing dogs found marijuana, cocaine, and other drugs on his property. He spent time behind bars but is now out on bail.
This awesome video captures footage of a fierce lightning storm near the "Christ the Redeemer" statue, that stands 30 meters tall in Rio de Janeiro. After a few bolts come close to the monument, a final bolt of lightning makes contact in a spectacular light show that bounces off the enormous figure.

Skunks are known to get into things they're not supposed to, so when this skunk got into some grease behind a restaurant, he was in need of a major spa treatment to get cleaned up.
Recent snow storms in Winnipeg have made it virtually impossible to drive. With zero visibility and wind gusts of over 70 km/hr, driving a car almost becomes a death wish. Of course that doesn't mean that people don't try to navigate the icy, dark roads... and we have the video to prove it.
It's awesome when you can share your hobby with someone you love. It's even better when you can share your hobby with the pet you love. Bryan's dog Kaia may not be able to ride a mountain bike, but she is able to navigate her way through the paths he rides on... and usually she's leading the race.
Some people have no shame whatsoever. They will fight on the train, like in this first video. And even throw themselves at cars, like in the second. Everyone needs to take a minute for a big "Woosa."
A video from Jukin shows two fishermen who looked death in the eyes when they went out for a day of spear fishing, sans oxygen tanks. The two were looking for fish in the Coral Sea in Australia when a fish found them first. A tiger shark, who appears to be pretty fearless, dodges their spears and charges towards them multiple times before they finally make it back to safety. They said that the screaming afterwards is due to pure shock that they made it out alive. See the full escape here.
This video from Jukin shows us that even with spears in hand, fishermen can still be targeted by the bigger fish in the sea. See what our hosts thought of their just-in-time escape from the striped man eater.
When a couple of guys decided to go fishing during a cold day, they came upon a completely frozen over lake. While they didn't catch any fish, they caught something much bigger, and saved the animal's life.
You would think that of all the animals that are likely to become stuck in icy lakes and ponds this winter, that a bird would probably have the best chances of flying out of a dangerous situation. This seagull must have thought a fish popsicle sounded like a good treat, because he dared to stand on an icy lake and his feet became frozen to the ice. Rescuers had to thaw his feet out and leave some feathers behind before taking the poor bird to a rehabilitation center.
Footage of an August police chase in Oregon has recently been released, showing a man who appeared to be under the influence of stimulants, swerving in and out of traffic before police pulled him over. After a field sobriety test, the man returns to his car and pulls out a gun leading police on a dangerous chase through highly trafficked roads. The chase ends with shots being fired, but the fatal injury was later found to be self-inflicted.
If you didn't have time to watch the serial killer that everybody loved, Dexter, you now have a second chance. While many people might try and catch up on the talked about thriller series by renting the DVDs or spending hours online trying to illegally download the episodes, NUVOtv is offering a much easier (and legal) way of watching the Robin Hood of murder. That is, because they will be airing all 8 seasons on cable television for your viewing pleasure.
Underage drinking is illegal for a reason. While the standard age differentiates by country, it is clearly not cool to give alcohol to a 9-year-old anywhere. This video shows a little New Zealand native so drunk that he can't even stand. The boy claims to have smoked weed and that drinking is "okay." Still, it clearly isn't, which is why police are investigating the incident that was caught on camera. Click here for the original video.
There is nothing cuter than a clumsy baby animal. First, we see a baby polar bear who can't quite figure out how to make it to the food bowl. Then, a baby giraffe attempts to run for its first time and winds up taking its first fall. Check out the adorable baby bear learning how to eat.
An 80-year-old man suffering from the early stages of dementia was pulled over after driving many miles down the wrong side of the highway. While the man has not been allowed to drive alone for a few months, he had borrowed a relative's car to drop his wife off at church. Watching the video, it is almost unbelievable that he did not collide with at least one other car at any point during this dangerous drive.
It's crazy how much damage a little snow can cause. When two buddies go out for a little joy ride, one gets caught in what looks to be an extremely small avalanche, and winds up buried in the snow while the two work hard to dig it out.
Controversy is being raised in New Zealand since this video surfaced. The video allegedly shows an 8-year-old boy who claims to be drunk and high while at a skate park. He clearly seems disoriented in the video. For the RTM crew's thoughts on the matter, click here.
A busted pipe is to blame for this Chicago office's watery mess. The office belongs to an ad agency, and while it looks like a bathroom leak, it turns out that it is only dust and water. We understand if you saw this and your imagination wandered.
