When a few fishermen off the coast of Western Australia accidently caught an 800-pound tiger shark, they also inadvertently caught a giant crowd. The men worked hard to first pull the hook out of the shark's mouth before pushing him back into deep enough water for him to swim away.

The man underwent surgery at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital and was listed in stable condition. A robbery also took place in Australia where an ax-wielding man entered a store threatening the clerk and demanding money. The faces of each suspect can be seen on video and police in both cases are seeking assistance in identifying them.

A scary hostage situation in Vietnam turned bizarre when a man, wearing only tight underwear, threatened to cut his eight-year-old female captive with a large knife. The suspect threatened a Vietnamese SWAT team with the knife, which forced all parties to go out into the street. Just as the criminal was about injure the girl, a police officer came from behind to knock the weapon out of his hand. The girl was shaken up but received no injuries. The man was arrested and had an existing record.
When a firefighter arrives on the scene of a house fire before the truck, he attempts to stop the fire from spreading from the burning house to their next door neighbor's home. As he hoses off the house next door, more firefighters arrive on the scene to a home and car that are completely engulfed in flames.
These two videos look pretty brutal, but they could have been a whole lot worse.
A dense forest in Norway was the setting for a massive search for a lost teen. The 17-year-old called police to say he was lost in the forest and was frightened. Luckily a thermal imaging helicopter allowed for the cops to track him down after two hours of searching.
A standard traffic violation becomes a major felony in a matter of minutes when the driver of the vehicle begins to shoot at the police chasing him. Even after the driver crashes off the side of the road, he and his passenger get out and continue shooting at police officers, who eventually got the two in custody.
