A healthy, well-functioning body is often taken for granted. Ever since Jennifer Jones was just a child, her body has never known perfection. She was tested for Cystic Fibrosis at a young age however, the results came back negative. From there, her life consisted of breathing difficulties and an ongoing cough which doctors presumed to be asthma. It wasn't until her second child was tested for CF, that Jennifer knew she was dealing with something more. Another test revealed Jennifer was CF positive and her lung function was already at 65 percent. Daily medicines and breathing treatments only worked for so long, as her health began to slowly decline. Last October, she was admitted to the hospital and was told she would remain there until she could receive a double-lung transplant. One morning, her breathing test showed 10.8-percent of remaining lung function. As if the universe knew she needed a miracle, they received a call about a pair of lungs. Now, this is the moment she begins to breathe completely on her own with no obstructions. It's genuinely remarkable.
