Oscar isn't like other dogs but if you could ask him, he would disagree. Oscar lost the use of his hind legs after an accident. He doesn't let that slow him down, though. Using his trusty "drag bag," Oscar is able to keep up with all of his furry friends. He's always there to reassure other disabled animals that they too can go fast.

Dog Reunited With Family After Guarding House During Wildfire

Over a month since the deadly wildfires began in northern and southern California, reunions are still happening. This one is especially touching! Bill and Andrea Gaylord were just recently able to return to what was left of their home in Paradise when they witnessed an amazing miracle. They came face to face with dog Madison guarding what was left of the home. He had been missing since the Camp Fire, and although the family believed the Anatolian shepherd was alive, they weren't exactly sure. Madison's brother Miguel had already been rescued and was being cared for by animal rescue volunteer Shayla Sullivan. Sullivan had been leaving water and food at the site in the hopes that Madison would find it. Not only did Madison reunite with his parents, but he was also able to finally see Miguel again. Absolutely adorable! Now happily reunited, the two guard the land together. Videos and photos via Shayla Sullivan View Now

Man Discovers Dog In The Road, Rescues Injured Owner

Man Discovers Dog In The Road, Rescues Injured Owner

In a truly amazing story, Martin Hall Jr. saved not just one life but three, including two dogs! When driving his tow truck in Coulterville, California, he came across a dog dragging its leash in the middle of a dirt road. Getting out of his truck, Martin walked toward the dog, trying to coax it to come closer with a sandwich, in this video shared on Facebook by Michele F. Elam. Unable to approach the dog, Hall Jr. kept shooting his video, hoping it post later on social media in the hopes that the owner would see it. He reluctantly decided to leave the animal there, but turned back around, and it's a good thing he did. Hall Jr. heard someone yelling for help, and it turned out to be the dog's owner being kept company by another dog. The owner had fallen earlier while walking the dogs and was unable to stand. Hall Jr. quickly alerted the man's wife and also called 911. It was truly a miracle that Hall Jr. had traveled down the road, being unfamiliar with the area.
