Oscar isn't like other dogs but if you could ask him, he would disagree. Oscar lost the use of his hind legs after an accident. He doesn't let that slow him down, though. Using his trusty "drag bag," Oscar is able to keep up with all of his furry friends. He's always there to reassure other disabled animals that they too can go fast.

Pets Abandoned Or Lost After Louisiana Floods Find 'Forever' Homes

Even though your pets routinely become part of our families, after the shock of a natural disaster they're statistically some of the first things left behind or lost. PETA's breathless search in Baton Rouge days after the record flooding turned up 62 abandoned animals of all species from the flooded backyards, streets, and homes—many tied up or caged with no food and water! But instead of braving a post-disaster swamp, Benny the dog, Crash the cockatiel, and Lafayette and Thibodaux the kittens are soaking up love from their new families in Virginia! View Now
