It's easy for friends to become just as close as family. Ten-year-old Katherine and her mom Katie have known friends Estelle and Jay pretty much since Katherine was born. The families have always helped and supported each other through both happy and tough times, although they now live in different states. After Estelle recently crashed her car, Jay injured himself at work and their Christmas tree broke down, Katherine wanted to help bring a little brightness to their lives. Soul Pancake helped her execute the perfect surprise and the ultimate reunion.

Santa Brings Holiday Cheer To Homebound Children

Santa Brings Holiday Cheer To Homebound Children

If you celebrate Christmas, one of the joys of the holiday as a kid is paying Santa a visit armed with a list of what you want for gifts. Making a trip to see the lovable bearded guy is not always possible for everyone though. Children with medical conditions that are homebound often don't get the same chance, so an organization is stepping in to help. Secret Sleigh Project is a small volunteer-run group that brings Santa and a big dose of holiday cheer to families across the U.S. and Canada. This year, they are actually in need of more Santas, so if you're interested email secretsleigh@gmail.com. Due to medical circumstances, some children never get to experience the joys of visiting Santa. This volunteer organization helps bring the big guy to them. https://t.co/7QJSFuVxmA pic.twitter.com/xqZ8a9nncB — Good Morning America (@GMA) November 29, 2018 via Good Morning America View Now
