According to the website Beijing Cream, this video captured the gruesome death of a 24-year-old woman in Shenzhen, China. "The victim, a nurse surnamed Wang, was trapped in the elevator in Changhong Tower in Shenzhen’s Luohu district, when it stopped due to failure. Since the door was open the woman attempted to exit, but the elevator started moving again. The elevator fell at least three stories, killing Wang." The incident took place on May 15. The man has bloodied hands and is carrying knives as he speaks into a camera phone minutes after the brutal attack. Initial reports indicate the soldier was beheaded. Award-winning journalist Michael Hastings died in a fiery car crash in Hollywood when he crashed his Mercedes into a tree at around 4:15 am Tuesday. Coroner’s officials said the body was too badly burned to make an immediate identification, but both Rolling Stone and BuzzFeed, where Hastings worked most recently, reported that it was him. The 33-year-old was best known for a Rolling Stone article that led to the resignation of Gen. Stanley McChrystal. BuzzFeed Editor-in-Chief Ben Smith issued a statement on Tuesday, saying “Michael was a great, fearless journalist with an incredible instinct for the story and a gift for finding ways to make his readers care about anything he covered, from wars to politicians."
