Artist Ivan Cash compiled a random sample of art when he asked strangers to look at the last photo that was taken on their cell phones. The interactive art creates a social background to the design. While a random photo likely has no artistic purpose, the story behind it may evoke a certain creativity. Cash is able to capitalize on the regular pieces of everyday life.
