An 85-year-old man is recovering after being bitten on the foot by a 9 foot 9 alligator. It happened at the Cypress Lakes Retirement Community in Lakeland, Florida where the man was attempting to flush out birds in a wooded area commonly inhabited by gators. ABC News captured an aerial view of the alligator being pulled from the pond after the incident happened, still holding the man's shoe in its mouth.
