When Rory Beth was younger her dad James had to say goodbye more and more often because of his job. Her parents felt it best that her father focuses on his work, resulting in 12 years apart. Now, Rory Beth is turning 13-years-old and it's time to reunite with her dad. But one could say it's almost as if she's meeting her father for the first time. As her mother leads her through a parking lot blindfolded, Rory Beth has no idea who she is about to see.

Meeting someone for the first time can be a little strange, especially when you're a baby.

Cousins Raylee Faye and Skylar are saying "hello" for the first time. Now in baby language, we don't quite know what they're saying but we have a pretty good idea. "Who is this new person and hey, look they're little like me!"

This Couple Buried A Time Capsule Together & You'll Never Believe What She Finds Years Later

Now, the whole idea behind time capsules is that you can store special mementos for a REALLY long time in one place without worrying about them being opened. It was this assumption that helped one sweet guy plan the biggest engagement surprise EVER. Here's the setup: Troy (#1 boyfriend) and Jennifer (the lucky girl) had been dating eight months when they buried a time capsule together. Into the cleared-out peanut-butter jar went cell phones, favorite songs and notes. Almost six years later this couple was still going strong so Troy plotted a romantic cross-country trip North to re-open the sealed time capsule (which they'd buried on a scenic island in the middle of the Mikisew Eagle Lake in Canada). Jennifer was already MAXED OUT in the romance department--could a trip be sweeter? Little could she guess Troy had already found the time capsule and had a big surprise waiting.
