Although some would argue the road is a place for motor vehicles only, the world we live in requires much more than that. Living in England, the Jones family (Family ByCycle) makes it an effort to get out on the road to cycle. Tom and Katie have instilled this passion in their two daughters Rhoda and Ruth. Yes, it's adorable and that's definitely a factor in Rhoda's sudden rise to viral fame after she defied the haters on the road.

Rhoda, Ruth and dad Tom join our RightThisMinute hosts via Skype to tell us more about their family and their interest in cycling.

Water is a source of life and those who don't have access to clean water face life-threatening consequences. This is why five individuals from Australia are doing something to help communities in Tanzania. Caleb, Luke, Jordan, Joel, and Michael are raising money through their fundraising event Pedal It Foward to build wells and bring clean water. Beginning July 4, they will bike 1,926 miles through Tanzania and hike to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro in just 21 days. If they reach their goal, they will build 15 wells and impact so many lives who so desperately need it. If you'd like to help, you can donate to their fundraising event! View Now
RTM Talks to Dad Behind 'Red Thumb Reminder' Campaign

RTM Talks to Dad Behind 'Red Thumb Reminder' Campaign

The "Red Thumb Reminder" is described as an old-school solution to a new world problem. While it may sound simple and a little silly, it can work! RTM spoke to Steve Babcock who was inspired by his daughter's technique of tying a piece of yarn on her finger to remember something at school. He began painting his thumbnail red to remind him to put his phone down while driving. Guess what? It's worked. One nail salon owner even offered people a free gel red nail polish on your thumb as a way for her to contribute to this cause. We think nail salon owners everywhere should offer this service for a limited time and see if they can continue to push this movement forward. Check out Evolution Bureau's video. Would you try it? It's worth a shot. #RedThumbReminder View Now
