An anniversary vacation is a time to make special memories with your spouse, however, Kendric and Kenyada Tyler found themselves in the midst of a tragedy while vacationing in Puerto Rico. On the night of May 2, they were robbed at gunpoint and a shot was fired. Kendric jumped in front of his wife, taking a bullet to the shoulder.

Although a horrific situation, Kendric miraculously survived yet doctors suspect he will be paralyzed from the neck down. Strong in their faith, the Tyler family is hopeful Kendric will gain some movement back in his body. Instead of resorting to a place of despair, they remain strong and optimistic as they are just grateful to have Kendric alive. Kenyada and Kendric join our RightThisMinute hosts via Skype to share the emotions and experiences during this trying time.

If you'd like to show the Tyler family your generosity, you can donate to Kendric's GoFundMe.
