Plan For 'Realistic Fire' Goes Horribly Wrong At School Play 1:40
A theatre director at a secondary school in Izucar de Matamoros in Mexico's Puebla state was looking for something "realistic" and dramatic when he decided it would be a good idea to have one of his high school-age actors drop a lit match into a cardboard box with other actors crammed inside.
This reckless and horrifying inferno sent two actresses stumbling off stage covered in flames and to add insult to injury, insurance companies won't cover the girls' burns because the fire "wasn't accidental."
