Ruben Anaya was on his job site when he discovered something was stuck in a hole. It was a risky animal to try and save. A real stinker. Yes, it was a skunk, and Ruben was very brave to place a wooden plank in the hole to help the animal escape. Luckily, the rescue was successful, and Ruben walked away smelling fine.

Operation: Turkey Rescue! & Even Turkeys Need Hugs

Just because they're turkeys, doesn't mean it's okay to be cruel to them. The Toronto Wildlife Centre came across a turkey that had been found with an arrow stuck through its body and the arrow had been there for a while. After successful surgery to remove the arrow, the turkey recovered and was released back into the wild. Then, it's a very important question that we know has been on your mind for a long time: Can turkeys cuddle? It might sound like a silly question at first, but it's something Jeremy Hess was genuinely curious about. Operation: Eagle Rescues

The OWL Rehabilitation Society doesn't just help owls, especially when they come across other animals in need of some rescuing. They got a call about an eagle that was having trouble flying. Once the eagle was safely retrieved, they discovered it was suffering from led poisoning. Speaking of ill eagles, another group of animal rescuers in Florida were told of a bald eagle that wasn't looking too good. After careful examination, it was determined that the eagle had eaten a rat, who in turn had eaten rat poison. After some care, the eagle was healthy enough to return to the wild. View Now

Don't Worry Animals, It's People To The Rescue!

A couple of guys in Russia saw a reindeer stuck neck deep in the mud and knew they had to spring into action. Despite the embarrassed look on the reindeer's face, the deer worked with the men to help pull itself out. It took a little bit of effort, but they eventually managed to get the big guy free. Speaking of people doing good deeds, this couple spotted a sheep stuck on its back that couldn't get back up. So they pulled over and the man, Chris, helped push the sheep back to its feet. via Lydiard Oxford Down and Lydiard Turkeys View Now

Paper Cups And Skunks Are A Hilarious Mix

What's with animals getting their heads stuck in random objects? It may be hilarious enough for Fluffy the Cat but for wild animals like skunks, these enticing fast-food traps can be a death sentence around predators or cars. Thankfully, Ontario police avoided a tomato juice bath when they rescued a confused skunk wandering around after midnight neck-deep in a fast food cup. It's even more ridiculous for our second dizzy friend before Randy Connelly intervenes. View Now
