The Southwest Wildlife Foundation of Utah doesn't just rescue eagles, they take care of all kinds of birds. Case in point, they came across a newborn horned lark that needed 24-hour care and feeding in order to survive. Once it was healthy enough, they released the lark back into the wild.

Some birds get themselves into trouble though. This osprey got itself trapped in the cables on a cell tower. When Tom Corbin and his friend Shane were called in to help, they had to think on their feet since they're not actually bird rescuers. Thankfully, they were successful.

A couple of guys in Russia saw a reindeer stuck neck deep in the mud and knew they had to spring into action. Despite the embarrassed look on the reindeer's face, the deer worked with the men to help pull itself out. It took a little bit of effort, but they eventually managed to get the big guy free. Speaking of people doing good deeds, this couple spotted a sheep stuck on its back that couldn't get back up. So they pulled over and the man, Chris, helped push the sheep back to its feet. via Lydiard Oxford Down and Lydiard Turkeys View Now

Otherwise Helpless Birds Find Refuge In Rescue

Otherwise Helpless Birds Find Refuge In Rescue

The bald eagle is a beautiful symbol of freedom which is why we should always aim to protect it, as there are so few remaining. While harvesting clams in Nova Scotia, Canada, Angela and James Corbett along with her brother Garnet found an eagle swimming in the water. The bird wasn't enjoying a refreshing dip, but instead simply trying to stay alive as the weight of the water crippled its ability to fly. The thoughtful boaters gather their coats to then reach down and bring the bird on board. The eagle was brought to Cobequid Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre and later released back into the wild two days later. Animal rescues involving youngins are some of the most hopeful videos on the internet and who better to accomplish the job than Simon from the Wildlife Aid Foundation in the United Kingdom. Instead of receiving a call, as usual, this rescue rolled right up to the WAF facilities. After being on the road for several hours, a truck driver heard chirps coming from behind the cab. He knew he shouldn't reach for the nest without a plan and what better idea than visiting Simon. A nest of newborn robins was in need of some tender love and care! View Now
Birds In Danger, People Fly Into Action!

Birds In Danger, People Fly Into Action!

When a baby bird falls from the nest, it's a delicate process trying to properly re-nest it again. That's why the people at SMART (or Specialized Mobile Animal Rescue Team) had to come up with a clever new method for re-nesting a redtail hawk. They called it "The Stork" method, and they did it by attaching a net to a long pole. And it worked perfectly! via Animalrescueteamla Next, a baby swan had become trapped in a man-made water vortex. The momma swan couldn't get to her baby, so a kind stranger stepped in to save the day. Not only did he have to be gentle, he had to fight off a frantic mother swan as well. Luckily, he was able to reunite this feathery family. via Viral Hog  View Now

Divers were about 25 nautical miles off the shore of South Africa checking out a naturally occurring phenomenon, when 51-year-old Rainer Schimpf suddenly found himself trapped inside the mouth of a Bryde's Whale.
