Crossing a raging river is not recommended, but sometimes a trail calls for it. Two hikers in British Columbia, Canada had just set out on their adventure through the Lake of the Hanging Glacier when they happened upon a severe river crossing. A makeshift bridge and rope are the only ways across, so after a brief debate, they make the choice to cross. The first guy successfully makes it, but as he waits for his friend to cross, something goes horribly wrong.
He slips and falls into the raging rapids, his friend quick to respond reaches down to grab his hand. While it wasn't a fast rescue, he eventually made it onto dry land...Thank goodness!
