When a tornado hits, we're often at the mercy of the storm around us. While people have the choice to escape and even go chasing the storm, animals are on their own if humans can't help them. Storm chasers Jason Weingart, his wife Savannah and friend Matt were out surveying the damage after a tornado rolled through Van Zandt County in eastern Texas at the end of April. They came across an exotic animal farm that was completely devastated by the tornado and saw a young horse trapped under debris. Thinking quickly, Jason pulled the colt out and into safety.
