Because of the wildfires that have ravaged Australia, it's an encouraging sight to see signs of life in the affected areas. An adorable mama wombat and her baby were recently spotted wandering through this burnt bush, serving as a hopeful sign for Australian wildlife. We're so happy to see these little guys!
Next, Mongkol is a 61-year-old former logging elephant who spent years hauling trees in Thailand. Sadly, he ended up losing an eye and a tusk before eventually being rescued.
