By now we've all seen our fair share of ALS Ice Bucket Challenges. It feels as though everyone and their mother has shot a video of themselves being drenched in iced water in the name of research for Lou Gherig's Disease. Anthony Carbajal's video is different. Not only does he take the challenge, but he also provides a front-row look at what this horrifying disease does to somebody. Both he, his mother and his grandmother have been diagnosed with the disease. So, although for many it's a fun way to raise money, for Anthony and his family, this phenomenon that's caught on like wildfire means a whole lot more.

Dave Grohl has been considered the "Nicest Guy in Rock and Roll" for a while, so it was only a matter of time before the rocker and his band, Foo Fighters, answered the call for the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. Unlike most (if not all) famous participants, Grohl got extremely creative with a spoof of the film "Carrie." Instead of pig blood, the former Nirvana drummer was soaked in ice water. He then challenged Jack Black along with "Carrie" writer Stephen King and star John Travolta.
Third String Kicker takes the #ALSIceBucketChallenge to the extreme! And we mean extreme. It's not just a deluge of ice cold water, but a pelting of burritos and mouse traps, and a barrage of other things like snow, dirt, and chili.
In her new song "Shake It Off," Taylor Swift sends a message to her haters in the form of a catchy tune (of the it's-gonna-be-stuck-in-your-head-all-day variety) and whimsical music video. She features talented performers (including Pnut) in the video, and while she doesn't quite possess the same mad skills, is shamelessly okay with just being herself.
Meeting Robin Williams was on the bucket list of a terminally ill 21-year-old woman in Auckland, New Zealand. After she became too ill to travel to the United States, a friend reached out to the comedian who responded with a short and sweet message filled with humor and hope. It's surreal to see knowing that not too long after, Williams took his own life, and it was revealed that he was suffering from the early stages of Parkinson's Disease.
