Sometimes, nature is just too powerful. A fishing vessel in northern Norwegian waters needed rescuing when it ran aground and began taking on water, endangering the boat and the 14 passengers onboard. When emergency services arrived, it became a daring mission to pull each member of the crew from the boat and onto the rescue helicopter one-by-one. It was -4 degrees, snowing sideways and nearly pitch black, but the skilled and brave rescuers were able to save each crew member from the sinking ship. View Now

Police in Tulsa, Oklahoma are reaching out to the public in hopes of identifying a suspect in an attempted carjacking. CCTV cameras were recording when a suspect ditched his bicycle and tried to steal an SUV before being chased of by the owner.
Next, a mother and her child in India were riding on a scooter when somebody came up alongside them and stole the mother's necklace right off of her. The force of the theft pulled the mother and child to the ground as the suspect drove off. They only suffered only minor injuries. View Now
The absolute worst time for a parachute's line to get all twisted up is during a jump, so of course, that's when something like that will happen. Dimitris Kafasis had that experience during a wingsuit jump and had to use his reserve chute. Meanwhile, when it happened a second time, he managed to untwist his lines during the jump. View Now

Animal Aid Unlimited, India is out in the fields doing incredible work rescuing puppies from sticky situations... literally. They had found a puppy completely covered in tar and stuck to the ground, unable to move. In another rescue, a little puppy was laying in the streets with a severe neck wound crying in pain. Luckily they found both of these pups before it was too late, and they were able to treat their injuries and get them back on her feet. View Now
As we've seen time and time again, pollution in our oceans can be deadly for the creatures that call it home, and it only seems to be getting worse! The fishermen featured came across not one, not two, not even three, but four turtles that had become tangled in netting and trash. Of course, they began working to free the otherwise helpless animals.
